Introduction

Support for the legacy templates were removed in BrightWork 365 2026-2. These steps describe how to switch any project that use the older Templates model to the Project Templates model. 

These steps assume that you know which Project Template you want to switch to.

Method 1: Fix projects individually

To fix the Projects one by one, open them, select the desired Project Template, and click Save & Close.

Method 2: Bulk switch projects

You can also bulk switch projects by following the below steps. Ideally, the Project Template that you want to switch will have the same name as the Template the project was previously using.

1. Add the 'Project Template’ and ‘ΩTemplate (Obsolete)’ columns to a project view. 
2. Click Export to Excel > Open in Excel Online.
   
3. Enter the name into the Project Template column. Copy the Template name into the Project Template column if they have the same name. 
4. Click Save and wait for the import to complete.
